My media career started in advertising with an amazing agency that allowed me the creative space and guidance to win awards for copywriting. But, it spat me out. Something to do with being in a cubicle, I think.
Photography was really my passion. In my simple view, it was a way to travel and get paid. I learned photography by working on commercial productions and location scouting for the film industry. The pictures from self-funded documentaries landed me magazine jobs in which I learned the gentle art of writing relevant content, creatively to deadline.
Now I shoot stills, scout locations, write and sail for my daily bread.
